Kirai is owned and copyrighted by Miura Noriko and I don’t have anything to do with the creation of this manga whatsoever.
All scanlations distributed by this site are for free and I do not gain any profit by them. The only credit I will take are the English translations and the editing of the manga (at least for the earlier chapters. Generous and kind people had offered their editing skills for later chapters and they had been credited in the respective chapters).
Scanlating Kirai was a hobby I took up when I was still in high school. My intention was to try scanlation out myself but also to share Kirai to the world as it is an under-appreciated series that is unique and different to many other mainstream shoujo mangas. If Kirai ever gets licensed in English, I will immediately cease scanlating it and remove it from this site. (Whether I take up another manga to scanlate is another question altogether. This one manga has taken me almost 10 years and I’m not sure I have the time and effort to take up another = =|||).
If you enjoy Kirai, please support Miura-sensei by purchasing the official licensed version of the manga in stores. Kinokuniya and Amazon will be a great place to start. =)
